Discover how InJAMES empowers you to prevent phone scams and keep your personal information safe.
Comprehensive Scam Awareness from InJAMES
InJAMES is your trusted ally in protecting yourself from scam calls. When you receive a suspicious call, simply add James (AI Agent) to the conversation using the “Add Call” and “Merge” feature on your iPhone or Android device. James listens in real time, detects potential fraud or deception, and alerts you if something doesn’t seem right, giving you the confidence to hang up, ask better questions, or report the scam. It’s like having a smart, savvy friend ready to jump on the line and help you stay one step ahead of scammers. James is also taking notes (transcribing the call) so that you can use that information to help authorities or the companies and government organizations better fight fraud and scammers.
Use InJAMES Pause to break the threat chain
InJAMES Pause gives you a friend to join your call and monitor for suspicious conversation. When you receive a call from someone you don’t know claiming there is an issue and they are there to help… Scams work because the scammer creates a sense of urgency that something that you care about is threatened and they can help fix the problem. That is when most smart people make a mistake by reacting to what you are being told and giving up sensitive information. Instead, with InJAMES you have help so you don’t need to react quickly with information, you need to add James to the call using the “Add Call” and “Merge” feature on your iPhone or Android device. James listens in real time, detects signs of fraud or deception, and alerts you if something seems off—giving you the clarity to pause, ask better questions, or hang up before any damage is done.
Us InJAMES Report to notify authorities and companies
InJAMES Report empowers users to take action after a scam attempt by capturing a transcript and key data from the call. With just a few taps, users can share this information with the companies whose brands are being abused and misused, helping them take corrective action and protect their reputation. InJAMES Report also makes it easy to forward the details to the proper authorities, supporting broader efforts to track, investigate, and shut down scammers and fraudsters. It’s a simple but powerful way for individuals to contribute to the fight against phone-based deception.
How it works
Sign up & Setup
Registration is managed through our secure Stripe integration and takes just a few minutes. Simply provide your name, email, and up to three phone numbers (included with your account), along with a credit card for billing—that’s it.
We only collect the information necessary to confirm you as a customer and provide access to the service. We use data to better serve you, but we do not sell or allow other companies to use your data.
Once registered, save your InJAMES number to your phone. We also recommend printing the quick-start instructions to keep handy until you’re fully comfortable using the service.
Access the Service
If you receive a call from someone you’re unsure about, simply add James to the conversation.
On both iPhone and Android, this is as easy as tapping the Add button on your call screen, selecting your InJAMES number, and then tapping Merge. Once connected, James will join the call, announce that it will be monitoring, and request consent from the caller.
James will then ask the caller to state their name, the organization they represent, and the purpose of the call. From there, James continuously monitors the conversation and will interrupt if it detects suspicious keywords or scam-like patterns.
InJAMES Pricing
We offer a one month free trial of the service. After your free month you will be billed $149 annually or $14.95 monthly. Additionally we offer an ad-hoc service which is $6 per call and $1 per. minute.

Our Story
My personal story and why I started this project to help people avoid getting scammed
Pink Unicorn LLC InJAMES Origin Story
I founded Pink Unicorn LLC in 2014 as a way to protect my intellectual property and provide advisory services. Over time, it became a platform where I could explore ideas and contribute my expertise to meaningful problems.
In 2024, after someone close to me was targeted by a phone scam, I felt called to create something new: InJAMES. I saw firsthand how fraudsters create urgency and fear, pressuring people into unsafe decisions that can cost them their savings, credit, or peace of mind. As a technologist with experience at companies like Verizon and UnitedHealth Group, I’m used to solving complex challenges, but this one hit home. Like so many of us, I have family and friends who aren’t technical, and I wanted to help level the playing field for them when technology is used as a weapon against them.
At first, I imagined the original service as a service where a person, maybe a gig worker, could join a call in real time and help assess whether the conversation was legitimate or a scam. I liked the idea of creating jobs but I quickly realized that verifying identity and vetting the workers would be expensive, complicated, and hard to start and scale.
What changed everything was the rise of agentic Artificial Intelligence. Suddenly, InJAMES became something that could work, not just for a few people, but for masses. The service introduces a pause during a suspicious call, giving the victim a few precious moments to think instead of react. They have help and do not need to worry about false sense of urgency that scammers use to get smart people to make mistakes. Then, bringing in an AI agent to monitor the call and help assess the situation. Most scammers won’t consent; this alone should help potential victims understand that the call is not legitimate. The scammer will hang up or try, and fail, to work around the AI Agent. The result is friction for the scammer, space for the person being targeted to think clearly, and a powerful new tool to stop fraud before it happens.
InJAMES was built first for my family and friends, and now, it’s here to help the larger community stay safe and confident in the moments that matter most.
Why the name InJAMES?
Our AI Agent is called James after one of my heroes – my dad. When I was searching for a brand to develop for this project I started thinking of all kinds of made up words and searching for available domains. As I was going through that process it hit me to just brand the product InJAMES. Those who know me, know I do not shy away from learning and venturing in new directions. A lot of that comes form my father who instilled a belief in me that you can do anything if you are willing to learn and put the work in. My father was a founder himself and he is the source of my entrepreneurial spirit. He also quietly helped many people before his passing in 1992 and my goal here is to help people. So there is a bit of my father mixed in this. Why is JAMES capitalized? Each letter is the first initial of me, my two sons, my wife, and my mom who is the person that inspired me to come up with the concept. So the InJAMES brand was born and we hope that many of you find you can put your trust InJAMES (pun intended).
